New To Our Church

What to Expect at Pathway

What you can expect from us and what we hope from you.

We’re glad you’re here. Pathway is a family of people learning to follow Jesus together. Here’s a clear picture of how we try to live this out—and the kind of community we hope you’ll help us become.

1. The Bible: God’s Word, His Instructions, His Story, Our Story

We study the Bible carefully and teach it as the true, eternal Word of God, written for all people. We do our best to live it out in our own lives and in the way we lead this church.

We hope you’ll join us in learning Scripture and letting it shape how you live, day by day.

2. Grace

We choose grace over judgment with one another. None of us have this figured out perfectly.

We ask that you extend the same grace to us as we do our best to serve you and others—and that you offer that same grace to the rest of the Pathway family.

3. This Place

This property and this house were given by God. They are not “our building”; they are a sanctuary entrusted to us. We are committed to taking good care of it.

We simply ask that you help us steward this place well so it can continue to welcome people.

4. Growing as Disciples

Following Jesus is more than showing up for an hour on Sunday. That’s why we practice spiritual disciplines and gather in Bible studies and small groups—to grow in God’s Word, learn to listen to the Holy Spirit, and live as people made in God’s image.

We hope you’ll keep growing too: seeking God, praying, studying Scripture, and connecting in a group so you can know Jesus more deeply and live it out.

5. Real Community

Church is not a building. It’s people who follow Jesus and choose to encourage, support, and share life with one another. We will make every effort to get to know you, walk with you, and encourage you.

We ask that you do your best to know others as well, so you can offer the same encouragement and support to your brothers and sisters here.

6. Giving

Your giving is a sacred act of worship to God. We take seriously the responsibility to handle every gift with integrity, accountability, and good stewardship.

We simply invite you to give as God leads you, supporting the ministry of Pathway Fellowship Church.

7. Following Jesus Together

Christ is the Head of this church. We are committed to seeking the leading of the Holy Spirit so we can accomplish what God wants for Pathway.

We ask that you also give your life to Jesus’ leadership and do your best to follow the Holy Spirit in your relationships, decisions, and everyday life.
